Well, where do you start with such a car, I guess you start at the begining but it will be brief and any other infomation I have will be willfully offererd upon request.

This is a Group "C" Gemini coupe and one of only four left in exsistance (I,m lead to believe).  It is one one those lost and found, I couldn't believe it!

I freshened up and acually race it. No mueseum for this car, not yet anyway.

It started in the hands of Mr Bernie McLure in 1976 and was a big part of the 'Gloweve Gemini racing series" at Calder Park Melbourne in 1977 and 1978 among other meetings. It was in 1978 it was taken to Bathurst for the first time and raced as a 1976 TX Gemini coupe in the 1600 class. It was taken back to the hill in 1979 and pedaled by McLure and Langman again and ran all day. It finished the race coming second in class 128 completed laps and 22nd outright.  It was shortly after this it changed hands and was successfully run for years by John White, then changed hands again to a Mr Les Szrgniawski.  He ran the car a little before the radical changes, IE: Colour change from white to the blue you see, the late model(TE) front fitted, the zzr tail lights, the front air dam, the wheel arch flairs, it went from the 1600 four speed to 1800cc five speed and got 9 inch wheels and was prepared and entered at the Sandown 'Castrol 500' in 1984 (Entry in the log book)..and that is the meeting its current livery depicts for the C of D which I have got. After that meeting it went to the Australian Grand Prix held at Calder Park in november 1984 and then Group "C" was over and the car was sold again...

The story goes on... it then was sold to a gemini enthusiest who never raced it so to speak apart from car club stuff, sprinting and the like for years before the car was parked for approx 8/9 years due that owners ill health.  Then we found it,bought it in July 2005 freshened it up from front to back and raced it at the November historic meeting at Sandown the same year and almost every other historic (southern states) meeting ever since.

Even though its a 1800 competing in the under two litre class I can hold my head up high and proud of the fact that in February 2006 at Phillip Island we qualified the fastest under two litre car. It is an amazing little car thats has a watts links, detroit locker centre, Bilstiens all round and handles like its on rails. The engine is very fresh and strong. Mixing it up the the Group "C" class and especialy with the two litre boys has been some of the best fun I've had in my life.

I have recenlty decided to pack and move to sth east QLD and it is now redundent to us.   Some lap times..Phillip island 1.59s  Sandown 1.29s Wakfield park golburn 1.11s Calder 1.12s Symonds plains 1.29s eastern creek 1.59s and Morgan Park Qld 1.14s

She is a recognised "Historic Group "C" race car with a current C of D and ready to race...right now !!!
