Mini Valve Spring Tester.
- This Mini spring tester can be used in conjunction with a standard vise, arbor press or drill press eliminating the need for additional special equipment.
- These hydraulic models are supplied complete with a recall-calibration feature and a rubber gauge protector.
- 0-300LBS in 5lb increments. The increments are spaced out so they are easy to read and easy to estimate closely in between the 10lb increments.
- Will take up to a 1.550 inch spring.
- The spring sits on the end of this tester. Simply close the vise to the poundage you want to test and then you measure the length of the spring.
- Most technical manuals will have the correct data that the springs should be at, and you simply compare your results with the standard.
- You will quickly find the weak springs. Anyone interest in building their own engines can experiment with different spring pressures for optimum performance on a budget.
- 0-600LBS gauge available which are calibrated in 10 lb increments.
